Prostadine: What It Is, What It Costs and Where to Buy It

Our score 2.1/5 Weak How we score

Prostadine is a liquid supplement in a dropper bottle, sold online for prostate health, urine flow and bladder control. This page sums up what it contains, the theory its sales page is built on, what the evidence says, an iodine point worth knowing, what helps urinary symptoms, what it costs and how the refund works. We are not the seller; for the detail behind every point, read our full review.

  • The sales page names all nine ingredients.
  • Simple to take: two droppers a day, alone or in a drink.

❌ Cons

  • No Supplement Facts label, so no dose can be checked, including the iodine.
  • Saw palmetto failed in large trials; the seaweeds, neem and shilajit have no prostate trials.
  • No pygeum, beta-sitosterol or rye grass pollen, the ingredients with better evidence.
  • Iodine and iodine-rich seaweeds in unknown amounts may not suit people with thyroid problems.
  • Built on a hard-water theory and an unnamed “Harvard study” we could not find.
  • No single bottle, and a 60-day refund that requires returning every bottle at your own cost.

What is in each dropper

The sales page names nine ingredients. We checked the sales page and the seller’s help, reference and affiliate pages and found no Supplement Facts label, so none of the amounts is known:

Illustration of kelp and bladderwrack seaweed
Four seaweedsAmounts not givenNori, wakame, kelp and bladderwrack: rich in iodine, with no prostate trials.
Illustration of a saw palmetto leaf and berries
Saw palmettoAmount not givenThe best-known prostate herb, which did no better than placebo in large trials.
Illustration of a pomegranate and seeds
PomegranateAmount not givenDid no better than placebo on PSA in a trial of 183 men.
Illustration of a dropper bottle and an iodine drop
IodineAmount not givenAdded on top of the iodine in the seaweeds; the dose is not disclosed.
Illustration of shilajit resin and neem leaves
Shilajit and neemAmounts not givenShilajit raised testosterone in one small trial; neem has no human prostate studies.

The full list: nori yaki extract powder, wakame extract, kelp powder, bladderwrack powder, saw palmetto, pomegranate extract, iodine, shilajit and neem. Each bottle holds 2 fl oz (60 mL), a 30-day supply at two droppers a day. If you buy it, read the label on the bottle for the amounts, especially the iodine.

The hard-water claim

The sales page opens with a “new scientific discovery”: a “recent Harvard study” that supposedly blames hard tap water for a dangerous buildup of toxic minerals, and the seller’s affiliate material goes further, saying this buildup makes the prostate larger. The page does not name the study, and its own reference list does not include one.

We found no studies linking drinking-water hardness to an enlarged prostate. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) develops with age under the influence of male hormones, especially dihydrotestosterone (DHT). That is why prescription medicines that block DHT can shrink the prostate, and why nothing in a mineral “flush” would be expected to.

An enlarged prostate is very common: it affects about half of men in their 50s and most men over 80. It is not caused by your tap water.

What the research shows, at a glance

Prostadine itself has never been tested in a published study, so these ratings are for its ingredients, from the studies in our full review:

Saw palmetto for urinary symptomsLittle to none: no better than placebo in large trials and a 2023 Cochrane review
Seaweeds for the prostateNo trials for prostate or urinary symptoms
PomegranateNo benefit on PSA in a placebo-controlled trial; no trials in an enlarged prostate
Shilajit and neemNot tested for urinary symptoms
Prostadine itselfNever tested in a published study

The formula also leaves out the ingredients with the best small-trial evidence for urinary symptoms, such as pygeum, beta-sitosterol and rye grass pollen extract. The 2006 saw palmetto trial in the page’s own reference list, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, is one of the trials that found no benefit.

An iodine point worth knowing

Prostadine adds iodine on top of four iodine-rich seaweeds, and none of the amounts is disclosed. The adult upper limit for iodine is 1,100 micrograms a day from all sources, and seaweed supplements have been linked to thyroid problems, both overactive and underactive.

If you have a thyroid condition, take thyroid medicine, or already take iodine or kelp supplements, ask your doctor before using Prostadine. Raw shilajit can also contain heavy metals, and the seller gives no purity testing details.

What the seller claims, and what we found

  • “More than 160,000 customers” and reviews from 19,651 people. Neither figure can be checked, and the page shows only selected quotes.
  • “97% of customers order six bottles”. A common sales line that steers buyers to the biggest package before they have tried the product.
  • Customer quotes about dating again and a libido “as in my 20s”. Prostadine is sold for the prostate and bladder; none of its ingredients is proven to change either.
  • An “FDA-approved facility”. The FDA does not approve supplement factories; it registers and inspects them.
  • A bonus that turns plain water into “the most powerful natural Viagra”. No drink does that, and a claim like this is a reason for caution about the rest of the page.
  • Keeping the prostate “mineral-free”. The minerals in tap water are not what makes a prostate grow, as the section above explains.

Get urinary symptoms checked first

A weak stream, urgency, dribbling and getting up at night usually come from an enlarged prostate, but an infection, bladder problems, diabetes and prostate cancer can cause the same symptoms. A doctor can check with a simple examination, a urine test and, if needed, a PSA blood test.

  • Seek care straight away if you cannot pass urine at all, see blood in your urine, or have painful, urgent urination with fever and chills.
  • Ask a pharmacist first if you take regular medicine, including tamsulosin, finasteride, blood thinners or diabetes medicines.

What helps urinary symptoms

Time your drinksDrink less in the two hours before bed, and cut back on caffeine and alcohol.
Bladder habitsEmpty fully, wait and try again, and train the bladder to hold a little longer.
Stay activeRegular activity and a healthy weight are linked to fewer symptoms.
Proven medicinesAlpha blockers relax the prostate quickly; 5-alpha reductase inhibitors shrink it over months.

If you still want a supplement, choose one that lists its doses of pygeum or beta-sitosterol, give it two to three months, and keep taking any prescribed medicine. Our prostate guide compares the evidence.

Which package makes sense?

There is no single bottle. Two bottles cost $158 plus $9.99 shipping, three cost $207 and six cost $294, with free US shipping on three or six; that is about $2.80, $2.30 and $1.63 a day. The six-bottle order adds two e-books, a kidney “detox” and a libido guide. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and the crossed-out “regular” prices of $358 to $1,074 are not what anyone pays.

The sales page says 97% of customers order six bottles. Without a label, and with ingredients that showed little or no benefit in trials, two bottles is the most we would risk.

  • Two bottles ($167.99 with shipping) keep the amount you risk lowest, inside the 60-day refund window.
  • Six bottles ($294) give the lowest price per bottle, but commit you to half a year before you can check the label or judge the effect.

The refund policy advises using it for at least three months before deciding, which would take you past the 60-day window. Decide by day 60.

How to take it

  • The dose: two full droppers (2 mL) a day, preferably in the morning, under the tongue or in a drink.
  • Read the label on arrival: check the iodine amount against the 1,100 microgram daily limit, counting any other iodine or kelp you take.
  • Keep your medicines: do not stop prescribed prostate medicine to try it.
  • Track your symptoms: note how often you get up at night and how strong your flow is in the first week, so you can judge it fairly by day 60.
  • Stop if you notice a racing heart, shakiness, tiredness or swelling in the neck, which can be signs of a thyroid problem, and see a doctor.

Questions people ask about Prostadine

Is this the official Prostadine website?

No. This is an independent guide by Health and Wellness Studies. Prostadine is sold at getprostadine.com, and orders go through ClickBank.

What is Prostadine?

A liquid dropper sold for prostate health, urine flow and bladder control. Its sales page names nine ingredients, mainly seaweeds, saw palmetto, pomegranate, iodine, shilajit and neem, but publishes no label.

What are the ingredients in Prostadine?

Nori yaki extract powder, wakame extract, kelp powder, bladderwrack powder, saw palmetto, pomegranate extract, iodine, shilajit and neem. No amounts are published.

Does Prostadine work?

There is little reason to expect much. It has never been tested, saw palmetto failed in large trials, and the seaweeds, neem and shilajit have no prostate trials.

Does hard water cause prostate problems?

We found no studies linking drinking-water hardness to an enlarged prostate. It develops with age under the influence of male hormones, especially DHT.

Is Prostadine safe?

The amounts are unknown. It contains iodine plus iodine-rich seaweeds, which have been linked to thyroid problems, so people with thyroid conditions should ask their doctor first. Raw shilajit can contain heavy metals.

How do you take Prostadine?

Two full droppers (2 mL) a day, preferably in the morning, straight or in a drink. One bottle lasts 30 days.

Can I take Prostadine with tamsulosin or finasteride?

Ask your doctor or pharmacist first, and do not stop prescribed prostate medicine to try a supplement.

Is Prostadine FDA approved?

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements. The sales page says it is made in an “FDA-approved facility”, but the FDA registers and inspects such factories rather than approving them.

How long does Prostadine take to work?

The seller suggests at least three months, which is longer than the 60-day refund window. Because its ingredients showed little or no benefit in trials, there is no reliable timeline to expect.

How much does Prostadine cost?

Two bottles cost $158 plus $9.99 shipping, three cost $207 and six cost $294, with free US shipping on three or six. That is about $2.80, $2.30 or $1.63 a day.

Can I buy just one bottle?

No. The smallest order is two bottles for $158 plus $9.99 shipping.

Is Prostadine a subscription?

No, it is a one-time payment. Further offers may appear after checkout; you can decline them.

Is Prostadine sold on Amazon?

The seller sells it through its own website and ClickBank. A bottle from a marketplace does not come from the seller and may not be covered by the refund.

How does the Prostadine refund work?

You have 60 days from delivery. Email support with “Refund Request” in the subject line, then send every bottle back, opened or not, with the packing slip to Tallmadge, Ohio, at your own cost.
